HOW IT BEGAN
El-Amin Group (formerly known as The BMCA and El-Amin Music) is an American entertainment conglomerate founded by Qi'ere "YP" El-Amin & Tawfiq "Sturdyy" El-Amin.
El-Amin Group was founded in 2024 as El-Amin Music, which was intended to be a publishing & parent company for GTB Recordz. El-Amin Music was never taken seriously, nor did YP or Sturdyy make any moves to make it a known brand.
In late 2025, YP founded The BMCA, which served as the holding company for his record label conglomerate $oundwave Music Group (legally Soundwave Music Group, Inc.).
After some months of brainstorming, in early 2026, YP decided to merge The BMCA and El-Amin Music to create a new conglomerate named El-Amin Group), which now serves as the holding company for $MG and its companies.
